Point-of-Entry Systems
Filter all water through your home from one location. This is ideal for highly polluted water sources, but can be expensive, since you are filtering even shower water. Some come with multiple filter cartridges designed to clean chlorine, lead, dissolved iron, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur and heavy metals. Some models take care of bacteria with UV lamps or other methods but require larger reservoir tanks.
